General Physics 1 (SC title) Honors General Physics 1 (HC title) General Physics for Engineers 1 (EG title) Prerequisite: For SC and HC: MAC 2311 or MAC 2281 Prerequisite: For EG: MAC 2311 and College of Engineering majors only This is the first course in a two-semester sequence on calculus-based introductory physics. Covers mechanics, linear and rotational motion, fluids, waves, and heat. There is an emphasis on mathematical analysis of physical problems. The 3-credit version of this class is exclusively for Engineering majors and may include Engineering-specific content.
