Introduction to Embedded System Design

PREREQUISITES: CDA 3331C

Unified system approach to integrate hardware and software of a state-of-the-art, real-time embedded system. Topics include an overview of high-level modeling of and design with application specific and general purpose processors, peripherals, memory, communication and protocols. Concepts include concurrent processing, real-time, control, and finite state machines in embedded systems.
