Reading Instruction in Special Education Prerequisites: EEX 2091 or equivalent and EEX 4050 and EEX 4101; ESE majors only Course focuses on acquisition of knowledge and skills associated with instructing students who experience mild to moderate problems in learning how to become fluent, independent readers. Emphasis on the areas of phonological awareness, word identification, vocabulary, fluency, and reading comprehension.
